Hi, I’m Erin. I’m a book coach and editor who helps soul-centered coaches, healers, and changemakers plan, organize, and write client-attracting, transformational books to amplify their authority, grow their business, and change lives. Master Plan for How to Write Your Client-Attracting, Transformational Book

Over 12 weeks, I will help you clarify your book’s foundations so you can create strong outlines for the arc of your book itself, its Introduction, and each of its chapters, which will all guide you in writing your book with confidence and ease. From your outlines, you will also draft and revise your first two chapters. I will provide a workbook that guides you in planning and chapterizing your book, templates for outlining your Introduction and chapters, and two rounds of feedback on all your foundational and outlining work, and your first two chapters that you will write from your outlines. I will also help you create a writing schedule and a roadmap to completing your book so you can determine how much time you will need to write it and when you can estimate you will finish it. I will also introduce you to the stages of editing a completed manuscript goes through so you’l know what to expect when you’re ready for editing, and to the various routes available for publishing your book. The investment for this book coaching package is $3000 in full, or two payments of $1700.

Ongoing Support for Writing Your Client-Attracting, Transformational Book

After you’ve laid your book’s foundations, thoroughly outlined it, and begun your writing work, you can continue receiving my guidance and feedback as you write the rest of your book. Over three months, I will provide 2 rounds of professional editorial feedback on 10 pages per week, and meet with you during twice monthly coaching calls to discuss your progress, questions, and ideas. This schedule will also provide you with accountability to keep you motivated and working toward your goal of completing your book. The investment for this book coaching package is $3000 in full, or two payments of $1700.

Craft a Book Proposal for Your Client-Attracting, Transformational Book

If you’d like to seek a traditional publishing deal, you will need to craft a book proposal to pitch your book to agents. In this package, I coach you through crafting a knockout and thoroughly edited book proposal that will showcase the unique and powerful message you want to share in your book and why you are the right person to write it. This process is a flexible one; it can take between 3 to 6 months altogether. The investment for this book coaching package is $4000 in full, or 2 payments of $2200 each.

Pitch Your Client-Attracting, Transformational Book

To land the best agent to represent your book, you will need a thoroughly researched pitch plan to know which agents are the right fit for your book, what exactly each requires when being pitched, and a prioritized list of who to pitch first to get the book deal of your dreams. In this package, I coach you in writing your query letter to query agents and ensure it is thoroughly edited, then research ideal agents for representing your book, with their submission requirements, and help you create a prioritized pitching plan, including what to expect when pitching and how to respond when you begin receiving responses from agents. This package includes up to three months of support. The investoment for this book coaching package is $3000 in full, or two payments of $1700 each.

Edit Your Client-Attracting, Transformational Book

Especially if you intend to self-publish, whether on your own or with a hybrid publishing company, you will want to ensure your book is thoroughly professionally edited and polished so it can be the best vehicle it can be for carrying your voice and vision to the world. I offer developmental and line editing, copy editing, and proofreading services. If you’ve worked with me as your book coach, or with another book coach, your manuscript probably won’t need developmental editing.

Each stage of editing must be undertaken in order and its quality adequately addressed before moving on to the next stage. I provide thorough guidance at each stage so you’ll know just how to proceed with your revisions to create your best book. Each project is priced individually based on its needed scope of work, and consists of a single pass each. Additional passes can be requested and will incur additional cost.

If you haven’t received any feedback on your manuscript yet and you’re a new writer, a developmental and line edit is the best place to start, to gain editorial guidance on your book’s clarity, completeness, organization, flow, voice, and ability to connect with its reader. This feedback will let you know what in your manuscript is working well, what could be improved to make it even stronger, and how you can make those improvements. Then you will know just how to best revise your manuscript to make your book the best it can be. I complete a developmental edit in 4 weeks. I price each project individually based on its needs. The investment for my editing a 50k-word manuscript will be between $2000 and $2500.

When your book’s development is solid, you’ll be ready for a copy edit, to ensure all grammatical errors like spelling, syntax, and punctuation are corrected, your voice is clear, and your sentences are and smooth. The investment for my copyediting a 50k-word manuscript will be between $1750 and $2000.

And after you’ve revised that stage, your manuscript will be ready for a final proofreading polish to ready it for printing. This stage ensures all grammatical errors have been corrected and all formatting is correct and consistent. The investment for my proofreading a 50k-word manuscript will be between $1000 and $1500.

Note that if you are publishing your book through a hybrid publishing company, they may offer copy editing services, and will most likely proof the book themselves after doing its layout.

Edit Your Client-Attracting, Transformational Book’s Proposal

If you’ve written your book proposal yourself, I can edit it for you to ensure it contains all the parts a nonfiction book proposal requires, presents them in the proper order, includes the information agents and publishers are looking for, presents a strong case for publishing your book, and best shows your sample chapters in their best light to entice agents and publishers to make you offers for your book. After my thorough content edit, you’ll know exactly how to revise your book proposal so it will shine. The investment for my Editing Your Nonfiction Book Proposal package is $600 in full, or 2 payments of $350 each.
