ABOUT ERIN

I love everything about words and books! In addition to being a book coach and editor, I am a lifelong reader, a published author, a poet, and a spoken word performer.

I’ve taken proofreading and editing training with Edit Republic, Editorial Arts Academy, and the Editorial Freelancers Association, and am pursuing nonfiction book coach certification with Author Accelerator. I am a member in good standing of the Norwest Editors Guild, and I’ve provided editing services for publishers, indie writers, and online publications.

In 2021, I served as managing editor for VoiceCatcher, an online women’s literary journal publishing art, poetry, and prose by women of the Pacific Northwest. And I published a book about my spiritual practice in June 2023.

I’m a co-author of the international Amazon best-seller, Get Published: Industry Experts Share Their Secrets, and LA Weekly named me as one of its 15 Book Coaches to Watch in 2023.

Under my pen and stage name, I write and perform poetry and published a book about my spiritual practice called The Torch of Brighid: Flametending for Transformation. I’ve also composed three collections of poetry that I enjoy performing at open mics and shows, accompanied by my favorite local musicians.

Spending my days with mission-driven writers and my evenings with poets and musicians means I am always surrounded by fellow creative people who love words as much as I do! Nothing lifts my spirits more.

I am also the mother of two grown sons. I reside in southwest Washington State in the US with my didgeridoo-playing youngest son and more shelves of books than should reasonably fit into one apartment.
